STRATEGIC FITNESS ADVANTAGE ENGINE
Everything you need to decide your next strategy, in one platform.
Your position, how you compare, and three priorities your leadership team can execute. Fifteen minutes of your time. Delivered online, ready to print and share.
WHAT YOU GET
Three answers your stakeholders are already asking for.
Your true position. Which of nine strategic positions your company holds, based on two measures: how hard disruption, with AI as the dominant driver, is hitting your market, and how ready your company is to win from it. Each position comes with what it demands next.
How you compare. Your position against the INSTRATE Global 200, a benchmark of the world's leading enterprises, and against your own industry.
Your Next Strategy Brief. Where to act first, three priorities in sequence with their trade-offs, and what to stop. Written for your leadership team to execute.
Your view and the outside evidence are shown side by side, never blended. The platform counts only independent sources: regulatory filings, earnings calls and reputable reporting. Your position holds up in front of your board.

HOW IT WORKS
Four steps. You leave with a strategy ready for execution.
01
Diagnostic.
You answer twenty questions about your company: six on the disruption reshaping your market, fourteen across the six principles of Strategic Fitness. About fifteen minutes. This is your internal assessment, and you can revise it until your report is delivered.
02
Market Research.
From the moment you pay, the platform builds the external assessment while you answer: filings, results, products in production, partnerships and independent coverage. Every answer carries its source. A question the evidence cannot reach stays out of the score.
03
Position.
Your report: your place among nine strategic positions, how hard disruption is hitting your market, how ready your company is to win from it, and how you compare with the INSTRATE Global 200 and your industry. Your view and the market's view are shown side by side, principle by principle.
04
Next Strategy.
Your Next Strategy Brief: three strategic priorities in sequence, each with its trade-offs, where to act first and what to stop. A document to take to your board.
Your Diagnostic result appears as soon as you finish. Your position and Brief follow online, ready to print and share. Best fit: companies with a visible public record. The platform checks yours before you pay.

How do I know if my company is turning disruption into advantage?
The Strategic Fitness Advantage Engine measures it. It scores your company on how hard disruption is hitting your market and how ready your company is to win from it. It compares the result with the INSTRATE Global 200 and your industry, and gives you strategic priorities in sequence, online the same day.
What is disruption?
Disruption is any shift that resets your market faster than your strategy adapts. AI is the most visible today and accelerates the rest.
What is Strategic Fitness?
The leadership capability to convert signals into committed choices, build the next growth curve, and turn disruption into structural advantage, consistently. It is set out in Survival of the Strategic Fittest and measured by the INSTRATE Strategic Fitness Index.
What is the INSTRATE Global 200?
A benchmark of the world's leading enterprises across all 11 GICS sectors and three regions (the Americas, EMEA and APAC): publicly listed, privately held and state-controlled. Each is scored on how hard disruption is hitting its market and how ready it is to win from it.
Who answers the Diagnostic?
One executive per company, usually the CEO or the leader who owns strategy.
How long does it take?
About 15 minutes of your time. Your full position and Brief are delivered online the same day.
Is the Advantage Engine new?
Yes. The platform opened in 2026. The method is set out in Survival of the Strategic Fittest and applied to the world's leading enterprises in the INSTRATE Global 200. Founding members are the first companies to use it, at half price, with Lars personally involved in their results.
What does it mean to be a founding member?
You join The Strategic Fittest for 12 months: updated INSTRATE Global 200 benchmark data and a place in the founding circle. Lars reviews your Brief with your leadership team, your feedback shapes the platform, and you can run the Advantage Engine again within 12 months at the founding price.
What if the Brief doesn't help us?
If your Next Strategy Brief doesn't give your leadership team a clear first priority, email info@instrate.com within 30 days of delivery and we refund you in full. This applies to founding member purchases made by December 31, 2026.
What if my company has little public coverage?
The platform checks your public record before payment and tells you what to expect. With a thin record, your report shows what public evidence found and places your company on your own diagnostic, labelled as such.
How is the free Position Check different?
The Position Check gives a first indication from six of your answers. The Advantage Engine takes twenty questions, checks them against independent public evidence, and delivers your full position, your benchmark and your Next Strategy Brief.
Can I run it on more than one company?
Yes. Each company is a separate assessment. Capital partners and corporate groups can assess a whole portfolio. See portfolio assessments
Is my data confidential?
Yes. Your answers and results are confidential to your company. We use them to deliver your assessment and never publish company-level results without your written consent. Founding members review their results with Lars. Service providers that run the platform handle data under contract.
